A native of Hope, Rhode Island, Harley W. Bartlett paints in the American tradition. Primarily a landscape painter his admiration of the late 19th and early 20th century American realist painters has led him to allied fields such as the mural and decorative arts, and portraiture. His work may be found in New England galleries (see list) and he readily accepts commissions through any of these establishments. |
